Pros - price ($40 full service), location to Halifax and Peggys Cove, bathrooms/showers were clean, site was clean and some will accommodate the largest rigs, quiet campground. Cons - I hate salt water pools as they look murky and dirty therefor did not use pool, bathrooms although clean are dated, water smelled of rotten eggs sometimes, really nothing in campground store. I would deinetely return and overall enjoyed my stay.

I highly recommend scoping out the campsite before plunking down the money. We took the site we were given and it was not very nice. Closest to the exit so lots of traffic. It rained for three days straight so we were up to our ankles in water everywhere at the campsite. Almost too short for our tiny camper and small truck. On the positive side, the wifi was amazing, never had a problem connecting and it was fast. Laundry room was very nice as well. Also, no mosquitoes which was nice after our stays at past campgrounds in NS.

It was ok. The showers were quite open to the outside and we visited early fall when the wind is chilly. I froze. Also, the bathrooms could use better lighting. Dark. The camping spots are tight, we couldn't open our canopy, which is also in part to the scrubby trees that need thinned out. WiFi wasn't great either. We will only go back for the proximity to Halifax.

The showers by the office need improvement.. badly. An we were by the road so heard traffic all the time. But the staff is so friendly and helpful.

2nd stay end of August early September 2017. Site is C3 right beside office and internet wifi good enough to stream my Netflix. Pool is heated and does not look murky as in my 1st review. Did not use pool though. Yes bathrooms are dated and are open air so cool in the spring/fall. A decent campground although kinda scruffy and pretty close to Halifax
